The Comtest Group has released a trio of high definition, industrial performance Fluke digital cameras, the Ti400, Ti300 and Ti200. Equipped with LaserSharpTM autofocus, they guarantee perfectly focused images every time. Users of infrared camera technology rate focus as the single most important factor when conducting an infrared inspection. Without an in-focus image, temperature measurements are not accurate and problems can be overlooked. The LaserSharp autofocus technology indicates exactly where the focal point is by using a laser to calculate the distance to the target before it focuses. The user simply places a red laser dot on the equipment to be inspected. The trigger is then pulled and released, delivering a perfectly focused image.
The Ti 400 range features wireless connectivity, enabling the cameras to connect with other wireless devices. Free firmware allows for the capture of up to five additional measurements with the CNXT Wireless system sending data directly to a PC, iPhone or iPad. These additional measurements help diagnose problems faster and provide additional data to create more comprehensive reports. Field installable telephoto and wide-angle lenses are available for added versatility in special applications. Voice annotation makes pen and paper obsolete.
The Fluke Ti 400 range allows users to create an inspection report on-site and forward the findings via iPhone or iPad. The image can be adjusted to present problems effectively. Markers and other tools can be used to indicate or quantify the severity of the problems. Inspection results can be shared by emailing images or reports in order to plan the next step, gain approval for work done before leaving the job site, or get assistance in analysing a problem.
