Emis Sales 2002, part of the Becker Group of Companies, has been appointed as the official distributor in South Africa for Trolex gas detection and recovery monitoring systems, as well as the environmental monitoring products.
“The Trolex range, designed to detect gases, monitor key environmental conditions and to optimise machinery performance, is intrinsically safe for use in all conditions including hazardous environments,” says Thinus de Bruyn, marketing manager, Emis Sales 2002. “These systems incorporate the latest sensing technologies to provide reliable solutions for measuring and monitoring requirements in safety critical industries.”
Trolex gas detection systems monitor virtually all toxic and flammable gases present in arduous environments to ensure optimum safety for workers and the protection of plant and machinery. These systems, which can also incorporate sensors for air flow, air temperature, humidity and vibration monitoring, are available with fully compatible control and display units, local alarms and intrinsically safe power supplies. This system forms part of a complete integrated plant monitoring system complete with scada graphic packages.
Machine condition monitoring systems are designed to measure water flow for dust suppression sprays, oil and water pressure, gear box lubricant levels, as well as the temperature of gear boxes and drive systems. Gas detection can now also be incorporated into on-board systems for complete safety and optimum performance of machines. Data acquired by these monitoring systems can be linked directly to a central data network to provide real-time information on a machine’s operating status.
The Trolex methane recovery monitoring system incorporates high performance gas detectors, combined with flow, pressure and temperature sensors, to provide accurate methane recovery data, even in the most demanding environments. This advanced safety monitoring technology ensures reliable measuring and monitoring in applications that include power generation, railways, mining and tunnelling, oil, gas and petrochemical processing, as well as water treatment, materials handling and process control.
