Leading sensor expert, EGE has introduced a separate operating and display unit for the versatile EGE SDI 853 inline flow meter. This device, with an impulse output, enables remote meter reading and programming of switching points.
The configuration of the EGE SDI 853 meter allows users to install the device directly into pipes even in poorly accessible places without compromising on control and functionality. Programmable functions on the device include two switching points, hysteresis, and an on/off delay.
The amplifier unit can also be used to set the impulse value. All programmed parameters and the current reading can be accessed via a 7-segment display. The EGE SDI magnetic sensors can monitor maximum and minimum values via a switching output which can be programmed as NO or NC. It also detects reversal of flow and these measurements are displayed as negative values.
The EGE SDI flow meters have a measuring range of from 0,2 to 80 litres per minute. With a maximum measurement error of 2%, these sensors offer high accuracy in a wide range of liquid monitoring applications. Combined with the amplifier unit, the EGE SDI 853 sensors offer a cost effective solution.
The amplifier unit is connected via a 5-pole M12 plug connector and can be fitted on a DIN rail or a mounting plate.
