Eliminating splashbacks, spills and early shutoffs in ultra high-flow fuelling

Husky Corporation has unveiled the latest innovation in fuelling technology with its newly designed StreamShaper for ultra high-flow applications. Building on the success of its previous StreamShaper technology, which minimised early shutoffs and splashback spills for standard nozzles, Husky’s updated StreamShaper now enhances refuelling experiences for vehicles requiring ultra high-flow rates of 1000 litres per minute or more.
In demanding fuelling scenarios such as heavy-duty commercial trucks, industrial machinery, agriculture equipment, and high-capacity fuel tanks, delays from premature shutoffs, splashbacks, or spills can impact productivity and cause customer frustration. The StreamShaper solves these issues by using laminar flow technology to create a smooth, compact fuel flow, minimising splashbacks, and allowing for a faster, uninterrupted fuelling process.
Delivering a better fuelling experience
“Our newly designed StreamShaper is tailored to meet the unique needs of today’s high-capacity vehicles across various sectors,” says Husky’s technical service engineer, Paul Nilsen. “This technology applies laminar flow principles to ensure a consistent, direct fuel flow. By eliminating turbulence and cross-currents in the fuel line, it reduces early shutoffs and splashback incidents, ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction.”
Husky’s StreamShaper has been specially designed to manage the unique fuel flow demands of road trucks, construction vehicles, and high-flow fuelling stations. Unlike traditional nozzles with turbulent or obstructed flow, the StreamShaper keeps fuel moving in a clean, parallel pattern, significantly reducing foaming, early shutoffs, and spills. This improvement is particularly beneficial in applications with bendy or convoluted fuel pipes common in today’s modern vehicles, allowing for smoother and more efficient fuelling.
Husky Corporation’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction remains strong as the company continues to design products that address industry challenges.
