With 10 years experience in the manufacture of signal converters Danntech has adapted its range to accommodate some non-standard outputs.
The inputs can be any of the normal types as well as 0-50 mV, ±10 V and current inputs anything from ±1 mA to ±100 mA. Unusual outputs such as ±10 mA, ±20 mA, ±20 V and 0-30 V can also be provided.
Input voltages up to ±2000 V d.c. and currents up to ±1000 A d.c. can be handled using voltage dividers and current shunts, also manufactured by Danntech.
These converters use simple but reliable, analogue technology and provide isolation between input and output of more than 2000 V a.c. for AC powered versions and more than 1000 V a.c. for DC powered versions.
Other features include an adjustable filter 0 to 20 seconds, optional signal inversion, open collector output and adjustments for zero and span.
All converters are available within three days or less. The products are locally designed and produced. Using Danntech's signal converters helps to avoid major price changes due to a declining rand and supports the local industry.
Danntech also produces a variety of other signal converters such as: microprocessor-based programmable devices with RS485 and alarm relays, high-speed versions, high-current output and bulk supplied low-cost versions.
