MonoScan is a family of compact ultrasonic instruments for continuous level measurement of liquids, solids and open-channel flow measurement for industry.
It is a compact loop powered device for direct mounting with the integral transducer. The level/flow instrument has a built in LCD display and keypad, for remote setup, and therefore no need for a PC or laptop. It is believed to be the smallest open channel flow meter that has nine predefined weirs and flumes. The unit can also be programmed for level measurement. With a 12-24 V d.c. loop powered requirement, this makes it suitable for all applications. The two versions are available for 0 to 5 m and 0 to 15 m range installations. With 0,25% accuracy and 1 mm resolution it has all the power of its 'big' brothers in the SoltaScan range and also has the option of RS485 connectability.
Based on new technology, MonoScan delivers full compensation for vapours, gases, temperature variations, wind and pressure. These self contained instruments are easy to install and operate, and deliver cost-effective ultrasonic level measurement. Featuring dynamic and static echo control, automatic temperature compensation and automatic gain control, these units offer a superior ultrasonic level and flow instrument.
