SAIMC Annual Banquet - 2001

November 2001 SAIMC

Date: Wednesday, 7 November 2001

Venue: Bryanston Country Club

Time: 19h00

Cost: A mere R1800 per table of 10 (cash bar available)

Dress code: Formal

Events will include:

Welcoming of guests, pre-dinner drinks, with dinner in the Grosvenor Room. Then the world-renowned Dr Lee Berger will make a presentation entitled 'Human origins and humanity'. Dr Berger's enthralling presentations are usually sold out, so this is a rare opportunity to see how life was indeed stranger than fiction. Dr Berger's work has been the focus of four feature articles for National Geographic and five major international television documentaries. He has given invited lectures to the National Geographic Society in Washington and the Royal Geographic Society in London.

Please note: we will not be sending out invitations on your behalf. However, when you book your table, you will be sent 10 tickets. These can then be personalised and handed to your guests. We obviously need to know names for the overall guest list as soon as possible after they have confirmed their attendance with you.

Please contact Chris Townsend or Gillian Stubbs if you have any queries, and for bookings, at tel/fax: (011) 888 7163 or e-mail: [email protected]
