Afrilek hosts partner roadshows

May 2015 System Integration & Control Systems Design

Leading system integration company Afrilek recently hosted very successful partner roadshows in Steelpoort and Witbank. This event marked the first time that the company has brought together all of the major roll players of industry to showcase the complete solution ranged that Afrilek can offer to the end users.

The show not only highlighted different equipment from the leading suppliers, but also offered workshops based on solutions rather than promoting the products. The full solution range includes the following:

• Siemens: PCS7/TIA Portal with Simocode integration, substation automation, gas analysers and transmitters.

• Wonderware: Experience how HMI 2.0, Industrial Cloud and new Wonderware solutions are changing the game.

• Phoenix Contact: Power supplies, surge protection and interfaces.

• Oculus Innovations: Smart control rooms.

• ABB: Variable speed drives, VM3D laser solution, pH measurement and positioners.

• Schneider Electric: VSD technologies and PlantStruxure PES.

• Afrilek: MCC innovation products and technical standards.

• Lapp Kabel: latest technologies.

• Rascals Automation: Customised training solutions.

The event turned out a success with end users saying it was practical as they could choose to attend one or two sessions which they were interested in, see some equipment, demo vehicles, talk to the Afrilek Experts and could then go back to their plants.

“We would like to thank our loyal partners for assisting in making this event a great success. The industry can look forward to seeing more of these in the near future as we bring them to different regions,” said Su-Anne Willemse, business development manager, Afrilek.
