We thank our Patrons. The SAIMC is the institute of choice for all persons and organisations working in the automation, measurement and control industry. Companies associated with this business; either in the supply, service, or as an end user, recognise our efforts and choose to be Patron members of the SAIMC. Their association with us strengthens their commitment to this unique and challenging industry, their financial help allows us to support our members and to encourage school leavers into this industry.

We facilitate training and education opportunities to prospective students through our network within the industry. This costs commitment, time, and of course money. Our Patron members support us in these endeavours. They also have their internal and external training course material accredited at a reduced rate by the SAIMC committee for ECSA’S CPD Points, thus assisting the registered professionals employed by them with their education and continued development.
We are proud of our Patron members and display their company logo’s at all National Council events such as the Annual Banquette and whenever possible at golf days presentations, etc. These companies who support us are also given preference when they request to share their technology at any of our branch meetings. It gives me a great pleasure to be able to present the following list of Patrons for 2009. Some of these companies are new, and some have been registered as Patrons for over 30 years.
