Hägglunds Drives South Africa, a leading provider of direct drive systems and hydraulic motor technology, recently participated in the Botswana Mining and Technical Exhibitions.
At the forefront of the company’s participation were strategic objectives aimed at driving relationships and establishing a stronger presence in the mining and power generation sectors. Ashley Mohun, sales engineer at Hägglunds Drives South Africa, highlighted the company’s goals for the event. “Our main objective was to showcase cutting-edge direct-drive solutions that optimise processes for maximum productivity and profitability. We are pleased to have engaged with a diverse group of attendees and decision makers who showed an interest in our direct drive solutions. The positive feedback and enquiries received during the event indicate that we successfully captured the attention of potential clients and partners,” he reflected.
The Demo Unit of the company’s drive technology display demonstrated variable speed control at full torque across all speeds, offering efficient and precise control for critical processes. Their simplified high torque direct drive solutions, without gear reductions, target challenges in Botswana’s mining and power generation sectors, positioning them for Industry 4.0 readiness. These advancements promise enhanced operational efficiency and competitiveness for industries adopting them.
“Our direct drive systems are designed to transform industrial processes by offering efficiency, flexibility and reliability to enhance productivity and drive cost savings for our clients,” concluded Mohun.
