EtherCAT breakfast seminars
August 2023
News
Martin Rostan, executive director, EtherCAT Technology Group.
The EtherCAT Technology Group (ETG) is again running its popular series of EtherCAT breakfast seminars in South Africa during October.
Industrial Ethernet and expecially EtherCAT remain hot topics in the global automation industry. Traditional fieldbus systems are showing their limitations today, as new fieldbus technologies are appearing that promise to provide higher performance and more support for internet protocols. Automation system users need to decide if, when, and how these next-generation networks should be adopted. Hosted by ETG executive director, Martin Rostan, these exclusive seminars will explain and clarify these topics at selected venues. Dates and locations are as follows:
• Thursday 26 October: Durban
• Tuesday 31 October: Cape Town
• Wednesday 1 November: Johannesburg.
Here are some of the reasons to attend:
• Learn about the benefits and challenges of Industrial Ethernet.
• Explore and understand EtherCAT technology.
• Talk face-to-face with an EtherCAT expert, and see how EtherCAT can accelerate your application or project.
These free-of-charge seminars are aimed at automation professionals, device manufacturers, system integrators, product managers, decision makers, and students. You will learn about EtherCAT and Industrial Ethernet, along with current trends such as gigabit performance for EtherCAT and cybersecurity.
