System Intergrators honoured at banquet

Jan 2000 System Integration & Control Systems Design

In recognition of the achievements of its partners, Schneider Automation held the third annual System Integrator Banquet and Awards Ceremony at the Park Hyatt on 11 November 1999. It was a night of glitter, prestige and a lot of fun, with well-known racing commentator and public speaker Francois Wolfaardt entertaining the guests. The authorised System Integrator Program was pioneered by Schneider Automation in South Africa and is the major focus of its business.

Each year, three Excellence awards are presented to System Integrators who have achieved outstanding performance in different categories. This year, 'Excellence in product application' was won by Skelton and Plummer Projects and the finalists were Logicon and Schneider Projects. System Solutions (previously known as ICIS) took the 'Excellence in overall performance award', with Associated Systems and Logicon as close runners-up. 'Excellence in partnerships' was awarded to AGE of Africa Technologies with Ram-Tec and Telecontrols as finalists.
