Gas control products for Covid-19

November 2020 News

Fluid Systems Africa (FSA) is the authorised distributor for Gas Control Equipment (GCE) in Africa, and supplies a wide range of healthcare and high-purity products.

The global spread of Covid-19 has created an unprecedented situation for the entire world. In this extraordinary situation, GCE is doing everything possible to maintain product and service delivery. It has responded to the extraordinary demand for oxygen compatible regulators and has been a producer of pressure regulators designed and produced in line with EN ISO 2503 for medical, industrial, and high-purity gas service.

Focused on quality and safety, GCE has produced oxygen compatible regulators for more than 100 years, up to 300 bar cylinder pressure. As of today, and for the foreseeable future, the factories in the Czech Republic, UK and China operate under full load whilst ensuring employee health and monitoring guidance from local government and authorities. The product range includes air and oxygen blenders for the provision of a mixture of the two for use in hospital and emergency care ventilator applications.

GCE’s brand of Druva Tec gas manifolds and equipment for emergency response now offers its brand new DruvaTEC 5.0 oxygen equipment to support the healthcare system. A modified version of Druva‘s high-purity gas equipment for emergency response is also readily available.

Cylinder regulators, gas manifolds and gas sticks for high pressure reduction, as well as ultra-low-pressure flow control (millibar ranges), can help to cut response time and consequentially save lives. GCE’s Medimeter range of flowmeters are used for control and measurement of air and oxygen administered to patients and are available in different regional gas connections.
