Honeywell Southern Africa has appointed CNSI Technologies as its authorised distributor/technology partner in Ghana. Based in Tema, the industrial centre of Ghana, CNSI will offer the full range of Honeywell products and systems with the greatest growth potential expected in industrial and automation and controls and the Honeywell range of home and building control systems. "Many of the world-class hotels and shopping centres now being put up in Ghana will benefit from the efficient use of energy that the installation of Building Management Systems (BMS) from Honeywell will facilitate," states Josh Peprah of CNSI Technologies.
"Since inception in 1996, much of our effort has been focussed on corporate networks and system integration. This experience, combined with a wide knowledge of energy efficiency and control issues, we believe that there is great potential for Honeywell in this region," adds Peprah. According to Honeywell, the need for the company's control products in the region has been evident for some time. "Now with the high level of technical support and expertise offered by CNSI, we believe that Ghana's various industry segments will welcome the availability and accessibility to our products and know-how," adds Nick Buick, Managing Director of Honeywell Southern Africa.
From the Ashanti Gold Field operations, aluminium and steel processing, to oil refining and power generation, CNSI has the in-house knowledge, backed by the full support of Honeywell Southern Africa to ensure high levels of customer service in the region.
This is a timely and much welcome development as far as industrial development in Ghana is concerned, since the availability of Honeywell's world class industrial control technologies at the local level, will go a long way to help Ghanaian industries benefit from the 'Buy made-in-Ghana goods' campaign.
