LabVIEW hands-on workshops

November 2002 Training & Education

Due to demand, National Instruments South Africa chose to run four additional LabVIEW hands-on workshops for this year. There are three of these workshops remaining. They run from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and the dates are: 15 November, 29 November and 13 December.

These workshops are suitable for engineers, scientists and technicians who need to create custom measurement and automation applications. Many are surprised at how quickly they can develop a complex application program using LabVIEW.

LabVIEW is a highly productive graphical programming language for building data acquisition and instrumentation systems. With LabVIEW, users can quickly create user interfaces that give them interactive control of their software systems. To specify their system functionality, they simply assemble block diagrams - a natural design notation for scientists and engineers. LabVIEW's tight integration with measurement hardware facilitates rapid development of data acquisition, analysis, and presentation solutions. It contains powerful built-in measurement analysis and a graphical compiler for optimum performance. LabVIEW is available for Windows 2000/NT/Me/9x, Mac Os, Linux, Sun Solaris, and HP-UX, and comes in three different development system options.
