Portable ignitor for industrial burners

Durag's D-HG 400-80 portable ignitor is designed for use in all types of industrial burners. The device provides a powerful 4,5 J spark making it a safe and suitable instrument to ignite liquid or gaseous fuels.
The portable ignitor unit consists of the ignition lance, ignitor electronics and a separate battery pack with built-in charger. No high voltage cable is required, and the integrated pushbutton provides safety in operation. A semiconductor thyristor replaces a spark gap making the electronics free of wear and tear. A fully charged battery pack will provide approximately one hour of continuous operation and the ignition lance can be adapted to any burner.
Inside the ignition unit high voltage capacitors are charged with energy of 4,5 W/s, and by means of a wear-proof thyristor, the stored energy is released to the ignition tip, producing a powerful discharge arc, which ignites the fuel. For safe ignitions in the start-up phase, the unit generates 20 ignition sparks per second for 60 s, and then reduces to five ignition sparks per second. Sparking is indicated by a built-in LED. Durag is represented locally by OEN Enterprises.
