$3,3m multivariable pressure tranducers order

The Control Products business of Honeywell has received an order from Thermo Flow Automation, a Thermo Electron business, for multivariable pressure transducers valued at over $3,3m.
"This large order strengthens our relationship with Thermo Flow Automation in two areas," stated Marc Duvall, vice president of Honeywell Industrial Process Controls. "First, they continue to choose the MVX 3000 for natural gas flow metering applications that require best-in-class accuracy and stability. Second, they have purchased the first MVX 2000 units, our new low-tier multivariable pressure transducers. The new MVX 2000 allows them to enter the low-volume gas producing market where a lower cost multivariable measurement is needed."
Honeywell's MVX 3000 is well suited to the gas metering industry as it offers two measurements from one device - differential pressure and gauge/absolute pressure.
"We standardised on the Honeywell multivariable products because of the MVX 3000's high accuracy and unsurpassed stability and the MVX 2000's cost-reduced platform," stated Larry Quick, president for Thermo Flow Automation. "And at very competitive prices, we believe they offer the best products of their kind in the industry."
Since 1992 with the joining of products from Tokheim Automation, EFM, Elliott and Hydril PTD, Thermo Flow Automation has become one of the fastest growing companies in its industry with the commitment to produce the highest quality products while providing proven engineered solutions and unparalleled customer service.
With worldwide offices and sales agents, Thermo Flow Automation can provide the right product for a specific application. Thermo Flow Automation is part of the Thermo Electron Corporation, a parent company that provides financial strength and stability.
