Procon Electronics
A new universal display has recently been added to the popular MOD MUX Modbus I/O product range from Procon Electronics.
The universal display is a 6-digit LED display and has been designed for wall mounting on swivel brackets. The large, 58 mm high, super-bright digits enable the display to be read at a distance in an industrial environment.
The display is available in three variations. These include a clock, an up/down counter and a networked display. The displays communicate over a RS485 network using the well-known Modbus protocol. The displays may be connected to a PC using any one of the many scada packages that support Modbus or to a PLC with a Modbus master communications port. All of the standard MOD-MUX modules can be used on the same network and repeater modules, RS232/RS485 converter modules and fibre-optic modules complement the range to give advanced communication flexibility for the purposes of displaying process variables such as voltage, current, temperature etc.
