These instruments are equipped on one side for IR contactless measurement and on the other side of the instrument with either a quick acting surface probe or a penetration probe. The Testo 826 has been designed with the food industry in mind - water resistant topsafe housing protecting the instrument, laser pointer for the IR measurement with an extended -50 to 400°C range and incorporates adjustable audible as well as visual alarm.
The 825 model has a sprung thermocouple sensor for ultra-fast measurements and includes adjustable emissivity in the range of 0,2 to 1,0 making it a versatile measuring instrument for general industrial applications.
