The 435 series has application in waveform capture and power inverter efficiency in solar, wind and UPS applications for industrial electricians, utilities technicians and advanced power quality users. Top-of-the-range 437 series targets the defence, avionics and other transport-focused industrial electricians and technicians for the capture of power quality measurements for avionic and military power systems with 400 Hz frequency needs.
Built into all 430 series devices is a mathematical formula for the monetisation of energy created by the professors and staff at Valencia University, USA. Fluke heard about their work, did their own testing, and incorporated it into the 430 instruments, making them unique in the world.
