Gas sensor/transmitter for toxic gases

The Trolex TX6373 may be used in General Purpose, Ex Group I or II and has a large range of electrochemical sensor units that are optimised for detecting one of 24 different toxic gases. For general purpose and Ex Group II, the transmitter is loop powered with 24 V d.c. and the output is a 2 to 20 mA signal, the Ex Group I connection provides for both 2 to 20 mA and 0,4 to 2 V signals and runs off a 12 V d.c. supply. Trolex also offers a special order option for a 5 to 15 Hz output signal. The TX6373 is available with or without a built-in display.
Some of the gases that are included in the sensor range include H2S, Cl2, NH3 and C2H4O. Full-scale sensitivity of the detectors varies for different gases, ranging between 1 and 2000 ppm, depending on the gas.
