Throughout the course of 2016 and early 2017, Instek Control delivered four Centec, DeGaS-Cold de-aeration skids to major brewing facilities in southern Africa. During June, a further skid was delivered at one of the bigger brew houses in southern Africa. All the skids were designed and manufactured to differing client requirements and requests.
In the food and beverage industry, dissolved oxygen has an adverse impact on flavour stability and shelf life. The de-aeration system DeGaS-Cold removes oxygen from water that is used for the production of beer and soft drinks. In other industries dissolved oxygen plays a major part in piping erosion and boiler deterioration.
Centec’s systems and sensors are engineered to meet the most demanding requirements of the brewery, beverage, food and pharmaceutical industries. The team of experienced engineers aims to create quantifiable added value for customers, and Instek Control is proud to be the representative in Africa.
Centec also manufactures these plants for the smaller craft brewers, and have models available to suit most desired output, quality levels and budgetary constraints.
