Kenneth McPherson has been appointed as the new Chairman of the IIG.

McPherson said he is looking forward to a year of continued growth and interaction as the members support each other with the challenges they face as a result of the economic situation. The membership has recently gone from 24 to 27 members and he is hoping to increase it even further. The IIG is also looking forward to engaging with the DTI with regard to the law changes to the BBBEE – hopefully to the benefit of the industry as a whole.
