Kimo’s wireless HVAC measuring instruments

February 2016 Industrial Wireless

The latest offering from Kimo is the range of next-generation Kistock-RF wireless dataloggers that have the advantage of remote control and real-time processing to ensure traceability through the supplied Kilog-RF software.

Capable of storing up to 20 000 measuring points for temperature, humidity, pressure, etc, the Kistock-RF provides users with accurate monitoring of the process over a defined period or continuously. The software facilitates setup such as thresholds, alarms, smoothing, interval and frequency, and allows easy data manipulation in graphical or table formats. The device’s innovative mounting system (also available with a magnet), makes installation simple, fast and secure. With or without display, the range consists of models with 1 or 2 external probes that can record 1 to 3 parameters simultaneously.

Kimo has also developed a recorder with a pressure sensor that is ideally suited to applications such as clogged filters or cleanroom monitoring.

There are alarm modules and network extenders to trigger a dry contact to a PLC system, and to extend the area to be controlled by up to 100 datalogging devices in the network. In addition, Kimo offers wireless shuttle transport to recover all data from all devices.

A visual warning alert via e-mail optimises the storage of sensitive products, as well as the manufacturing process. In compliance with the protection of integrity of records requirements of the FDA, Kimo has focused on traceability by offering a product range with 21 CFR part 11 certification.
