Omron’s top of the range FH-Vision Automation System is designed for quality control applications in quality control systems such as those found in food, beverage and pharmaceutical applications.
“This system is very fast,” says Omron vision system specialist, Philip Potgieter. “It is ideal for any kind of quality inspection application and can also handle barcode scanning and optical character recognition.”
The front end is a high-speed CMOS camera, which is connected to the controller via a fibre optic cable. Set-up is from the front panel touchscreen display, and, if necessary, data can be transmitted via a range of communication options for remote processing and storage.
