Gemü 480 Victoria butterfly valve range
April 2015
Valves, Actuators & Pump Control
The Gemü 480 Victoria butterfly valve series is versatile and can be used for a wide range of applications. The butterfly valve, which is approved by the German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water (DVGW), is used eg, in the areas of drinking water treatment, sea water desalination, in industrial supply systems, as well as in mining and metal extraction.
The soft seated butterfly valves of the series are available in nominal sizes from DN 25 to DN 600. Three different versions of body configuration are available and the customer can also choose from a range of materials and coatings for the body and butterfly discs. The seats are also available in numerous versions, from EPDM and FPM through to NBR. There is also a special EPDM version for drinking water applications. This fulfils the requirements in accordance with ACS, KTW, WRAS, W270 and FDA. Exchangeable seats or a special version with seats bonded into the body can be supplied. This version is particularly suitable for applications involving high pressures, mechanical stress and vacuum.
The Gemü 480 Victoria series features a top flange in accordance with EN ISO 5211 for mounting various operators. Hand levers, gearboxes, pneumatic actuators and motorised actuators in open/close and control variants are available. The pneumatic actuators can be equipped with an extensive range of accessories such as pilot valves, electrical position indicators, switchboxes and positioners.
