ASi training workshops
October 2001
Training & Education
Shorrock Automation, specialists in the design and engineering of ASi industrial networking systems, is holding ASi training workshops for interested parties. The hands-on workshops, which will be held at Shorrock Automation's new premises in Centurion, will cover all aspects of ASi - from the design stage to complete system integration and faultfinding. Topics will include learning about all the hardware and software involved in an ASi system; testing, troubleshooting and maintaining an ASi system; how to install and commission an ASi system; connecting ASi to other fieldbus systems like Profibus-DP; an update on the latest development with the new 62 slave ASi system; and an introduction of the new 'Safety at work' modules and much more.
The first, two-day course will be held on 7 and 8 November 2001. A nominal fee will be charged to cover course material, lunch and refreshments. The ASi workshops are ideal for project engineers, plant engineers, plant foremen, consultants, system integrators and technicians.
Note that Shorrock Automation is relocating to its newly built premises during October 2001. The new address is 44 Sovereign Drive, Route 21, Corporate Park, Irene Ext.30, Centurion.
