Metso’s comprehensive route-based condition analysis service can form an integral turnkey function in any reliability centred maintenance program. Working to a predetermined testing route, a Metso specialist, using the new Maintenance Pad with wireless sensors, can identify machinery with potential problems that require scheduled serving and immediately alert to imminent breakdowns threatening productivity.
Depending on machine criticality to process availability, a route plan or several route plans are made together with customer maintenance personnel. At periodic intervals, decided as part of a vibration analysis service contract, a Metso specialist conducts the route-based vibration data collection and analysis.
