TCL offers a range of level sensors and switches that can be used to measure solids and liquids in various industries including water treatment, petrochemical and food & beverage.
One of the most popular instruments is the SC tuning fork type vibrating probe level switch. The SC2400 Tuning uses two piezoelectric elements built into the vibration tubes. The first element is triggered by a pulse; the second then receives the vibration and transmits it to the output. When the product being measured makes contact with the probe, it causes the frequency to change and the output signal to switch.
The SC2400 is reliable, maintenance free and built to withstand heavy lateral loads. It is equipped with fail-safe standards to prevent malfunction caused by power outages and specifically designed to avoid accumulation of matter on the probe itself.
