R&C Instrumentation is pleased to announce that it has been appointed sole distributor for Datapaq Temperature Profiling Systems in southern Africa.
Datapaq is a leading manufacturer and service provider of temperature profiling systems. It provides a complete industry offering for monitoring, logging and profiling of temperatures in applications like furnaces, ovens and other temperature related processes. Datapaq provides rugged, dependable process measuring systems for use in harsh, high temperature environments.
Established in the UK in 1985 to monitor paint cure, Datapaq has rapidly evolved to cover six main industry groups: furnace (steel, aluminium, glass), ovens, ceramics, electronics, food and photovoltaics.
A typical system consists of a primary element (thermocouple or PT100), a datalogger, a thermal barrier and system software producing a reporting package that conforms to AMS 2750E. With the correct logger and thermal barrier it is possible to profile applications like reheat furnaces and withstand temperatures of 1300°C for up to 9 hours.
With the growing need for compliance documentation in all industries, the Datapaq range provides what users require to ensure continuity and increase in production.
