The latest PV solar and wind energy training at the Lapp Training Centre was hosted by Solar Con on the 27 October and was attended by participants from Mozambique, Namibia, Zimbabwe and South Africa. This training takes place on the last Saturday of every month at the Lapp Group Head office Johannesburg with two courses on offer: PV solar and wind energy grid connection. Both qualify for CPD points. Two of the participants, Professor Cuamba and Dr Chenene, at the latest course came from Eduardo Mondlane University of Maputo. When asked why the lecturers from the university attended the training they answered: “We wanted to learn more about the theoretical, practical and project aspects of the renewable energy industry.”
