With the help of the organisers of the Women’s Day programme at Endress+Hauser, the Durban team was able to touch 38 women of the ABH Home in Chatsworth through the delivery of gift hampers. The ABH Foundation offers a home to the underprivileged as well as an education to help them find their feet and independence. After this they are able to leave and begin a new chapter in their lives.
Niveshni Govender and Natlee Chetty from Endress+Hauser’s KZN office delivered the hampers to the ABH Home in Durban.
Endress+Hauser’s communications manager Ingrid Nicolaus commented: “In each of these women we saw a heroine and every day that challenges them is an inspiration to others in our society. It is up to us to keep the legacy of Women’s Day alive and make a difference by empowering the women around us and in our communities.”
