The EtherCAT Technology Group (ETG) is inviting automation users and system integrators to a seminar series in South Africa, taking place 13–15 November in venues in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban/Pietermaritzburg.
These ETG seminars focus on the technology and its applications delving deeper than product presentations. They are educational events from the experts and address hot topics as classical fieldbus systems are challenged by industrial Ethernet technologies that provide more performance and support for Internet protocols. Automation system users have to decide if, when and how to adopt these next generation networks. Participants will learn about the EtherCAT technology and its applications in South Africa as well as worldwide.
Participation is free of charge and the speakers are renowned fieldbus and Ethernet experts from the EtherCAT Technology Group and from Beckhoff Automation. These experts are also available for in-depth discussions about industrial Ethernet technologies.
Detailed information regarding the venues, speaker and presentations as well as the online registration form can be found at www.ethercat.org/rsa2012
