The innovative InfomasterSMS from Dold is an SMS remote control module to monitor machines and plants in industrial and building automation. The transmission is based on the GSM mobile phone network and makes exchange of information very simple, allowing cost saving and reaction to alarms.
The SMS-relay RP 5812 can be configured easily via a mobile phone; the communication of status and alarm messages is made by individual free text SMS messages. To request the I/O status the RP5812 can be called, with password protection as an option to prevent unauthorised access. The integrated GSM-quad band-modem allows worldwide usage of the device.
The SMS-remote control module is available with analog and digital inputs and outputs.
Applications include machine and process monitoring, emergency power supplies, sewage and water plants, heating systems, air-conditioning and cooling systems.
