Solution-oriented video graphic recorder

Instrumentation specialist Endress+Hauser has introduced a solution-oriented video graphic recorder capable of controlling and improving plant economic viability with the use of specific application packages in conjunction with ReadWin Software.

The Memo-Graph 'Visual Data Manager' enhances plant integrity through the ability to examine and search for historical data or print charts for further analysis, and can be retrofitted with customised application software.

The following application packages are immediately available, with more to follow: 'Tele-Alarm' delivers an SMS message to a choice of three cellular phone numbers in the event of a limit value being exceeded or a digital input being switched. 'Batch' records signal level (min/average/max) and values of the active channel (Temp/Press/Level/Flow), as well as batch control values such as the duration, start/stop time of the process, batch name and the batch number. 'Waste Water' monitors sewer networks and wastewater treatment plants and delivers information regarding quality and economical operation of the system. 'Gas - Steam - Heat' calculates gas normal volume, gas mass, saturated steam mass, saturated steam calorific value, fluid heat difference, and water/steam heat difference on the application and indicates actual consumption. Calorific value may also be calculated.
