Baumer now offers precise pressure measurement and complete temperature stability to the beverage industry. The PBMH pressure transmitter has 3-A and EHEDG certificates and is one of the most compact of the hygienic pressure sensors on the market today.
PBMH was specifically developed for use at extreme media temperatures ranging from -40 to 125°C, with an optionally available cooling line it can measure media up to 200°. Active temperature compensation restricts temperature error in the specified range to very low levels. The PBMH covers a measuring range from 0,1-400 bar with ATEX-certified and transmitters resistant to shock and vibration. Greater mounting flexibility is permitted by the small dimensions.
The pressure transmitters have stainless steel housings and are available with several flush-mounted process connections, likewise 3-A certified. They are compatible not only with all Baumer hygienic products but also with a variety of products from other manufacturers. The PBMH is therefore ideally qualified for beverage filling applications such as hydrostatic level measuring or fill volume monitoring.
