At its two-day Smart Solutions Conference & Expo held at the Birchwood Conference Centre, Schneider Electric South Africa illustrated how effective energy usage can increase a business’ bottom line.
“Achieving energy efficiency is a key requirement for businesses across all sectors and, recognising this, almost 600 delegates from the mining, metals, water & wastewater, food & beverage, oil & gas, utilities, buildings, data centres and residential sectors, joined the event to experience a broad spectrum of Schneider Electric’s energy solutions, products and services,” said Carl Kleynhans, country president southern Africa, Schneider Electric.
The interactive event allowed delegates to meet with the company’s technology experts and discuss current and innovative solutions for daily best practice within the areas of electrical distribution and automation control, as well as data centres and building management. Highlights included PlantStruxure system architecture, new telemetry and remote scada solutions, user friendly remote energy management and an introduction to state-of-the-art imaging science through Sarix with SureVision.
