A wide range of inductive proximity switches suitable for demanding industrial environments is available from Countapulse Controls. These units are ideal for applications where electromagnetic interference can be caused by motor power supply lines, frequency inverters, digital mobile radio networks, wireless high frequency signal transmission or power lines. The EGE sensors offer reliable performance and will not malfunction under these conditions.
The units can be installed in close proximity to strong electromagnetic interference sources such as frequency inverters and motors. They can be used in a temperature range from -25-120°C with switching distances of between 2 and 170 mm. Users can choose between M12, M18 and M30 standard models and cylindrical units. All units are connected via a fixed cable or an M12 plug connection.
The EGE sensors fulfil EMC requirements, and in addition to standard compliance testing, the units are subjected to extensive verification testing during manufacture. This includes simulated common electromagnetic interferences commonly found in industrial environments.
