IQ Instruments to distribute for Rotex
August 2011
News
IQ Instruments has announced that it has been appointed as distributor of the fluid controls systems division of Rotex for southern Africa. This covers the entire range of solenoid, air operated and angle seat valves. Rotex is an ISO9000:2008 certified company with manufacturing facilities at three locations in India and is one of the few companies to make valves certified for use in the nuclear power industry. With its in house design facility, Rotex is able to offer customised valves as well as the standard range of products.
Rotex solenoid valves are available in many configurations and comply with all major international standards including CE and UL, as well as being available with Atex certification for explosion proof and intrinsic safety. South African certification will be available soon. As well as conventional bodied solenoid valves, Rotex also offer valves for sub-base mounting including NAMUR. The unique solenoid system allows coils to be interchanged and the same valve can accommodate AC or DC coils without modification.
To help promote Rotex in South Africa IQ Instruments has been joined by Jack de Boer, who brings more than 30 years of experience in the solenoid valve industry.
