Wide-range temperature sensor

Temperature Measurement
The TN temperature sensor from IFM Electronic is a robust, wide-range device for use with liquid media. The microprocessor-controlled sensor is suitable for use at pressures of up to 40 MPa and has a setting range of -54 to +124°C, or -65 to 256°F.
TN temperature sensors have two outputs and may be programmed for either hysteresis or window operating modes. Setpoints are easily and accurately adjusted using a pushbutton setting system in conjunction with a large, three-digit, seven-segment display. LEDs show the output status, and confirm whether the unit is programmed for Celsius or Fahrenheit degrees.
When setting is complete, the seven-segment display normally shows the instantaneous temperature of the medium. The sensor also stores and can display the maximum and minimum temperatures experienced. Accuracy is typically 0,5°C over the temperature range 0 to 70°C.
Facilities for 'on' and 'off' time delays on the outputs are provided which can be adjusted between 0 and 50 s in 1 s increments. The outputs may also be programmed for normally open or normally closed operation to match the needs of the application.
