June 2011
News
‘Where Technology Shapes Solutions’ is the theme of the 2011 Europe, Middle East and Africa Honeywell Users’ Group Conference, which this year will explore a series of key trends shaping today’s process industry. In addition to core technical discussions, delegates will also debate topics and questions including:
* How is the process industry adopting renewable energy initiatives?
* What are the process industry’s views on carbon trading?
* What strategies are being adopted to manage water and waste water within the process industry?
* How are companies minimising – or planning to mitigate – risk created by a lack of qualified engineers in the industry?
* What are the key priorities for Western European refineries in the next five years?
Featuring hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology, one-to-one interaction with product experts, and group discussions with other Honeywell users, the EMEA HUG provides invaluable education and insight that can impact positively on profitability.
The winners of the 2011 Honeywell student challenges entitled ‘The Wireless Plant of the Future Challenge’ and ‘Innovative use of UniSim Design for Industry Applications’ will also be showcasing their ideas at the show.
When: 25-27 October.
Where: Baveno, Laggo Maggiore, Italy, the famous Italian lake district.
