Available from Switches International, the new single-turn EMA50 magnetic encoder series represents a compact and robust solution designed to meet the requirements of applications in textiles, packaging, solar tracking and others. Available standard with an aluminium flange, there is also an anodised version for corrosion resistance in outdoor applications.
The zero-preset feature makes installation easy and also limits the amount of fine tuning required by the operator. Rotation speeds up to 5000 rpm are possible with output codes available in binary or gray formats.
EMA50 is available with a full range 10 bit resolution and NPN or PNP outputs.
