The MK502A electronic T-slot cylinder sensor is a new addition to ifm electronic’s product range. Developed especially for hazardous areas, the Namur cylinder sensor complies with the highest category 1G/1D (zone 0/20). It can be used in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries as well as in silo applications, elevators or mills.
A 6 m long cable is included and is designed to reach a control panel in a non-hazardous location. It can be cut to length for easy installation.
The MK502A offers tried and tested advantages. It can be inserted into the T-slot from above and is thus easily and conveniently installed. A screw fixes the sensor and at the same time serves as strain relief.
Using the optional adapters, the T-slot cylinder can be fixed to all common cylinder types. The corresponding switching amplifiers for the Atex sensors are also offered by ifm electronic.
