Ethernet switches with UL approval

All Wago 100BaseTX industrial switches have received UL certification. These include the 5, 7, and 8-port Ethernet switches in the 852 series 101/102/103/104. In addition, the 852 Series 100BaseTX Industrial Eco Switch 111 with five ports received UL approval. With the certification, users now have available high-performance switches for use in industrial applications.

In addition to simple Ethernet switches with five and eight 10/100BaseTX ports, the 852 series also offers switches with eight ports and an additional two ports for SFP modules (small form pluggable, for the connection of fibre-optic cables) as well as configurable Ethernet switches with seven 10/100BaseTX ports and two SFP 100BaseFX ports. The configurable switches offer many settings, which, among other things, allow an Xpress ring switching topology. This permits alternative route switching on an Ethernet ring, which in case of the failure of the primary connection, allows a reconfiguration in less than 50 ms. The Eco switches offer easy installation in demanding industrial networks without configuration and at a fair price-performance ratio.
