Omron’s K8 series of monitoring relays are suitable for single-phase current and voltage control, three-phase voltage control, conductive level control and temperature monitoring. Nine models are available in the range to provide quality products for a variety of monitoring requirements.
K8AB-AS single phase current relay
The K8AB-AS single phase current relay monitors over and undercurrent and has a manual and automatic reset supported by another relay. The start-up lock and operating time can be set separately and the relay warning status is easily monitored using an LED indicator. The relay is designed to control maximum current in order to stop a motor before overloading occurs.
K8AB-VS single phase voltage relay
The K8AB-VS single phase voltage relay is used to monitor over and under voltage supply. Just like the K8AB-AS current relay, the manual and automatic resets are supported by another relay. The start-up lock and operating time can be set separately and the relay warning status is easily monitored using an LED. The relay is designed to measure battery supply voltage and set off an alarm output when this drops below the set point.
K8AB-VW single phase voltage relay (window type)
The K8AB-VW window type relay is designed to monitor over and under voltage simultaneously. There is a separate setting and output for over and under voltage. Manual and automatic reset is supported by another relay and the relay warning status can be monitored with an LED indicator. This relay controls the power voltage within set limits in order to prevent communication down-time.
K8AB-PH1 3-phase sequence, phase loss relay
K8AB-PH1 simultaneously monitors phase sequence and phase loss for 3-phase 3-wire power supplies. The relay warning status can be monitored with ease using an LED indicator in applications that check that all three phases are present and in the correct sequence.
K8AB-PM 3-phase voltage, phase sequence, phase loss relay
K8AB-PM monitors over voltage, under voltage, phase sequence and phase loss for 3-phase, 3-wire or 4-wire power supplies, in one unit. This relay features a switch setting for 3-phase, 3-wire or 4-wire power supplies. The relay checks that the three phases are in line and that the amplitude of the voltage is within the set limits to ensure longer equipment operating life.
K8AB-PW 3-phase voltage relay
The K8AB-PW monitors over and under voltage for 3-phase 3-wire or 4-wire power supplies and features a switch setting for 3 or 4-wire selection. Monitoring of over and under voltage for all three phases is achieved according to upper and lower limits.
61F-D21T conductive level controller
The 61F-D21T is a conductive level controller in a 22,5 mm wide industrial housing which can be used for single or two-point control. Its function (supply or drainage) can be selected via a DIP switch to maintain constant water level in a vessel.
K8AB-TH temperature monitoring relay
The K8AB-TH temperature monitoring relay is designed to prevent excess temperature increase and so protect equipment. There is a selectable alarm latch and SV setting protection, multi-input for thermocouple or Pt100 sensors and a changeover relay which is used as a failsafe. Settings are made using DIP switches.
