Endress+Hauser’s M-Platform pressure transmitters – Cerabar M, Deltabar M and Deltapilot M – are now available with interchangeable electronic inserts. The only exception is the analogue (4-20 mA) version of the Cerabar M.
The ‘plug-and-play’ electronic inserts ensure that sensor data is communicated automatically between the module and electronic insert when it is exchanged. Thus no re-programming is required, which is comparable with the S-Class pressure platform.
The previous versions of sensor required the data to be re-entered to the electronic insert’s matrix field when it was replaced. By using the M-Platform pressure transmitters, unnecessary stock of spare parts can be reduced to save money.
