Wika’s DIH50 series digital indicators feature an intrinsically safe 4-20 mA current loop display, which has the additional ability to detect overlaid HART communication between the connected transmitter and the control room.
The unit and the indication range of the DIH50 are automatically adjusted with respect to the settings of the attached HART temperature or pressure transmitter. Users therefore do not need to set the display settings in situ on the plant.
The standard units for temperature and pressure are already factory set within the instrument. An additional ‘user-unit’ is freely programmable. The display can therefore be used in conjunction with just about any transmitter with a 4-20 mA output signal.
The DIH50 is powered directly from the current loop and thus needs no separate power supply.
The unit can be wall mounted or an optional pipe-mounting set is available for mounting to process piping.
