Accurate temperature measurement has been used for many years to help determine machine condition. With SKF’s new range of infrared thermometers this can now be done just by aiming, pulling the trigger and reading the temperature on the back-lit display. The new TKTL range consists of two models that can accurately read temperatures from -60 to 625°C, both equipped with a built-in LED illuminator that helps to visualise the subject in poorly lit environments.
The entry level TKTL 10 is a robust and easy to use instrument with a fixed emissivity of 0,95 that is suitable for many applications. For more advanced users, the TKTL 20 features user selectable emissivity and a number of advanced measurement modes and alarm functions. For added versatility, the TKTL 20 is supplied with a temperature probe enabling direct contact measurements to be made if required.
