Kübler Africa is the supplier of these reliable and robust switches. Custom made lengths, number of contacts (up to four switching points) and connection threads/flanges are all specified by the customer. Different construction materials including 316 stainless steel, titanium, hastalloy C, PVC, PVDF and chemically coated units are all standard options. High temperatures (up to 250°C) and pressures (up to 5000 kPa) can also be accommodated.
The unit uses potential free contacts and no power supply is necessary to make the unit functional. Because of this the float switches are ideal for connecting to PLC/DCS controls. Interface levels are measured with accuracy due to the fact that the float is weighted for the correct specific gravity of the medium. As the float is always in contact with the medium an accurate level measurement is obtained. The switches can be supplied for Ex applications.
Ease of installation, maintenance and low cost make these level switches a popular choice for many applications.
