Panasonic released six add on cassettes for its micro PLC; the FP-X, the highlight being an Ethernet communications cassette.
Flexibility is the name of the game when it comes to the FP-X; the I/O cassette concept allows the user to configure the PLC to more efficiently fit the requirements of the project without the usual waste associated with this type of modular PLC.
This, along with the high-speed 32-bit RISC processor, a 16k or 32k step program memory and a maximum of 382 I/O points makes the FP-X a powerful choice of PLC for automation projects.
Specifications:
* 14, 30 or 60 I/O base units.
* 16 or 30 I/O expander units (up to eight units can be added).
* 16 digital, analogue and communication add on cassettes available.
* 240 V a.c. and 24 V d.c. supply options.
* USB programming;
* Ethernet.
* 16 k and 32 k step program capacity.
Features:
* Abundant program capacity - 32k steps.
* Equipped with an independent comment memory.
* Add on cassettes for expanded functionality and flexibility.
